Week 14

This week I created three videos that will be included in the production of our music video. They are the two exam paper scenes. The scene includes the protagonist being given his exam paper back with a U grade and has been told to go see the head teacher. The next scene was the good exam paper scene, you may think its a bad exam paper scene because it says go see the head teacher however this is a intellectual puzzle for the audience, it'll surprise them when they find out why he was told to go see the head teacher again. Finally the first fight scene was recorded, this is the scene where the protagonist was beaten up by a bully.

Week 13

Today we recorded the house scene during lunch time. This is part of our music video. After this is edited a video on Sony Vegas movie maker and made a behind the scenes for the scene we filmed in the house. The reason for doing behind the scenes is because it will be added into the CD when purchased to make sure we sell enough CD’s. It’s almost like bait.

Ancillary Draft Planning

I built the digipak template on Photoshop from scratch. I used a black box for the background to easily highlight and show the different measurements. I had researched on other digipak templates and I had copied the basic template, including measurements of normal CD cases, although the height and width can vary. The unfinished CD digipak show the CD in the top middle. Usual CD covers have it on the top left, or inside right. but since it is in the middle, it can fit additional pictures that we might use to tell the audience the narrative. The CD was made using the ellipse tool, under the shape section. This is my main guide for the actual digipak.
